Life Coaching with Horses

Georgia Benyk is Eagala Certified, Kid’s At Hope Certified Trainer, and an Equine Facilitated Coach with over 7 years of experience in natural horsemanship. She has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters Degree in Education from Boston State College. Georgia has over 20 years as a local and national Certified School Psychologist, in Massachusetts, Texas and Arizona, working with populations from preschool to high school. Formerly a Licensed Educational Psychologist in Massachusetts, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, Georgia has over 10 years in the mental health field working inpatient/outpatient psychiatric and private practice in Massachusetts and Texas. She became a Certified Equine Assisted Psychotherapist in December of 2006 and is currently an Equine Assisted Coach. In 2010, Georgia became certified as a Certified Equine Interaction Professional. 

Jan Guthridge is a Special Educator with a Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Arizona. She has 31 years of teaching experience in working with children with Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, and Mental Retardation. Her love of horses is endless, a love which has been passed on to her daughter. As a "Horse Mom," Jan has been involved in the youth 4-H equine program, many horse shows and competitions, and countless trail rides. Jan practices gentle and natural horsemanship with her horses. She believes that the best teaching practices come when we put ourselves in the role of the "student" and learn what they are trying to teach us...we must listen to the communication, whether from children or horses. 

Kimberly Purdy is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree of nursing from the University Of Texas Health Science Center and a bachelor’s degree of psychology from Texas A& M University.  She has 14 years of experience in nursing:  pediatrics in school, home health case management, telephonic disease management, cosmetics with most of her years of experience in critical care.  She has participated in volunteer services with the Brazos Valley Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority in Texas.  Kimberly has a great love of large animals (elephant, dogs and horses) and what they can teach human beings about them and us.  She has practiced nursing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas.  She strongly believes in, has reviewed study results and experienced many positive outcomes with good non-verbal communication and assessment skills.

Harriet Brigulio- is a Horse Specialist with a Master’s Degree in Education with endorsements in Emotionally Disturbed and Learning Disabilities. She has worked with the special education population for 36 years as a teacher of elementary and secondary students as well as served as a Special Education Department Chair and Team Coordinator for 12 years. Her experience working with horses began in Illinois in 1969, and continues since moving to Arizona in 2002 and becoming re-introduced to these magnificent animals.

Toah Hatch-A native of Gilbert, AZ, Toah has been professionally training horses for seventeen years. Riding at the age of 3 alongside his grandfather, a roping trainer, he started his love of horses and horsemanship early. At sixteen,Toah landed his first paid training venture, staring a young colt for a neighbor, never dreaming it would lead to a lifetime committment and challenge.Toah Hatch Horsemanship is geared towards  understanding the basic principles of relationship between human and equine.

Kevin Kuzma-A Doctor of Pharmacy from the  U of A, a new horse owner of a beautiful rescued Arabian Mare. In addition to Consulting with ELC, Kevin works as Disease and Education Resources Manager at Genentech
 
Brett Paige-School Guidance Counselor, dynamic, results driven Counselor with an extensive background in both academic and human services counseling.
